Brief job description
Are you passionate about bioimaging and ready to tackle the innovative challenge of engineering rainbow-coloured extracellular vesicles? If you love bioimaging, let's work together to develop a method to capture beautiful images that may also revolutionise our understanding of extracellular vesicles in vivo!
We have a 2-year postdoc position starting earliest at 1st January 2027. The project is funded by Villum Foundation through the Villum Experiment grant "From Genesis to Terminus: Rainbow-Painting of Extracellular Vesicles for Single-Particle Tracking". Through the project, you will be trained as an expert in the extracellular vesicle field with skills in genetic engineering of extracellular vesicles (including transient/stable transgenesis of zebrafish), live embryo imaging, and super-resolution microscopy of cells.
--- Important info ---
Project duration: 2 years
Place of work: Aarhus University
Expertise wanted: Bioimaging and image analysis (excellent if you have experience in super-resolution microscopy)
The application deadline is 28th Oct 2026 (in 3 weeks!), but please do contact me (Associate Professor Yuya Hayashi, yuya.hayashi@mbg.au.dk) early if you're interested to hear more about the project.
